Symptoms
Someone can't access MyAwaken, or they try to log in but the site isn’t accepting their information.
Request Account
1.They might be trying to access either another website or a different church's account. They will need to use MyAwaken.online or https://myawaken.ccbchurch.com/.
2. They have not yet requested access into MyAwaken
- to set up a log in text MyAwaken to 555-25 or go to MyAwaken.online and click "Request Account". This will prompt you to enter your information for the church to grant you access.
Forgot Password
Another reason why someone can't log in is because they forgot their log in credentials.
- Text MyAwaken to 555-25 or go to MyAwaken.online and click the "Forgot Password?" link under the Login button.
- Enter the email address that is in your Profile.
- Click Submit.
- An email will be sent to the address you provided with a link to reset the password.
- Enter a new password on the following page.
What if I want to change my Username or Password?
Once you are logged in, you can change your username and password.
- Click your Profile photo (or initials) in the top right corner.
- Click the Action menu.
- Select the Username/Password option.
- Now you can change your username and password.
Note: The password is intentionally left blank for password security.
- Be sure to save any changes before leaving the page.
Request Login Using the System Default
You can use the system default for Login request. This page asks for 5 basic pieces of information.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Mobile Phone
- Mobile Carrier
Note: If your church has multiple Campuses, then the person will first need to select a Campus.
Once someone requests a Login, if the email address matches an active Profile's email address, then a Login email is automatically sent to that address.
If the email address does not match an active Profile, then you be able to create a new Profile and manually send a Login. Check out this article for more details.
Request Login Filling out a Designated Form
You can "control" access to a Login by using a Form as a Login request. Some churches like this, especially since a Form’s contact fields allow you to create a Profile if one doesn't exist. Using a Form does require you to manually generate the activation link, but you can gather other information using a Form. Check out this article for more details.
Login Request Notifications
For System Default
If the System default is being used for Login requests, the Master Admin or designated email address will receive an email in one of three circumstances:
- The individual requesting a Login does not yet have a Profile.
- The email used to sign up does not match the email address in any Profile.
- The email used to sign up belongs to an inactive Profile.
