When a person completes a Form while logged out, the system can attempt to match the Form Response when there is one and only one exact match. When enabled for a Form, the system will attempt an exact match on first name, last name, and either phone number or email address.
Auto-match Settings on a Form
Note: To enable auto-matching for a Form, you must have Contact Information selected and you must include at least:
- First Name + Last Name + Mobile Phone, or
- First Name + Last Name + Home Phone, or
- First Name + Last Name + Email Address.
Once one of these situations is selected, auto-match is turned on by default.
Note: Existing Forms with the Contact Information criteria selected will automatically have the auto-match feature enabled.
Disabling Auto-match on a Form
- Log into MyAwaken.online
- Adjust your campus on the top right to the campus that corresponds with the form you are managing
- Click Forms in the left navigation menu. (if you do not see this option on the left hand side and you are a form manager please adjust your campus to the Admin campus)
- Click the title of the Form.
- Click the Edit link next to the title.
- Click the Form Settings tab.
- Deselect the Auto-match logged out responses checkbox.
How Auto-match Works
When Auto-match is enabled and a logged out person fills out a Form, the system will match the Form Response to the corresponding Profile if there is only one exact match. If there are any automations, the system will also automate the Profile to the connected Event, Group, Process Queue, or Position. The system will not update any information in the person's Profile, even if that information is not in their Profile.
Note: If the Form has payment, the Billing information will not automatically get matched.
Viewing Auto-matched Responses
Form responses that have been auto-matched will be displayed on the Form Summary and the Responses tabs when viewing the Form details.
Note: An auto-matched Form Response cannot be unmatched. However, like all matched responses, the Form Response can be matched to a different Profile.
